Pick up procedure on outward journey
Passengers will be picked up at their home or their chosen pick up address and we ask them to be contactable by phone as the driver may need to contact them prior to being picked up. In the event that the driver is more than 10 minutes late for their transfer to the airport customer’s are asked to phone the office on 01539 724658. Please follow the instructions in the message ‘out of office hours’ and you will be put through to a member of staff or the duty manager. When making the booking customers should allow plenty of time for their travel to the airport. Any pick up time given to the customer is an advisory time or may be the only remaining time available on that date. We cannot be held liable for any adverse conditions that may delay your arrival at the airport.
Pick up procedure on return
The company's target is to meet the customer no more then 1 hour after their landing. This will allow them time to collect their luggage and clear customs. There are certain unforeseen circumstances where this may not be possible and these need to be taken into account. If customers have not ARRIVED in the arrivals lounge after one hour the driver will have them paged (Manchester Airport information Desk) and again after a further 15 minutes, the driver will leave the airport after this if there is no contact. Therefore, if a customer is late clearing customs/baggage and envisages being longer than 1hr 15minutes, would they please call the office on 01539 724658. Please follow the instructions in the message ‘out of office hours’ and you will be put through to a member of staff or the duty manager Please note due to constant changes at Airports the pick up points may change without notice.
Inbound flights
The company only monitors the flights which we have been asked to meet. We do not monitor the previous connecting flights, for example if customers are flying from Orlando to Manchester via London Heathrow and they do not arrive on the flight the company has been informed to meet, then cancellation terms apply. If customers miss their connection and the driver has already started his journey to meet them, and they are due on the next connecting flight, the driver may wait to collect them. In such cases there will be a surcharge. On occasions like this we ask customers to advise us of the position by calling us at Airport Services UK Ltd on 01539 724658. If the flight the customer has asked us to meet is delayed we will try to meet them as promptly as possible. If the flight is likely to be more than 4 hours late the Company would appreciate it if the customer would contact us to inform us of the new estimated time of arrival. If the flight is more than 4 hours late the company cannot guarantee to meet the customer under its normal policy but will endeavour to monitor your flight and meet them as soon as is reasonably possible. In the event that a customer’s inbound flight is cancelled or redirected to another Airport then that journey will be deemed as cancelled and cancellation terms will apply.
We monitor your flights for collection from the airport on teletext or the airports website. If your flight arrives early we cannot guarantee to be there until 1 hour after the scheduled arrival time. As the information is provided by third parties and based on the best information available to them, Airport Services UK Ltd cannot be responsible for its accuracy and no reliance shall be placed upon the information. It is therefore important that users check the accuracy of the information with the relevant tour operator.
Manchester Airport
Terminals 1, 2, 3
Your driver will be inside the arrivals hall at the meeting point. He will have the customers name and home town on a card and will meet you approximately 45 minutes after your flight arrival time, 1 hour for large parties. If you are unable to locate your driver please call 01539 724658 for assistance. Liverpool Airport
Please go to the ‘Short Stay Drop Off Zone’ car park opposite the terminal. The driver is only able to park here for ten minutes and may have to drive out of the car park prior to his return to pick up passengers in order to comply with airport regulations. For groups of passengers of 8 people or more please go to the Long Stay car park, which is located to the left of the Short Stay car park entrance.
The Company retains the right to change its Pick up procedure without notice.
